In the art therapy session, our clients found a safe and non-judgmental space to express themselves freely. This also became a means of building connections. Our clients shared their art with each other, building on their socials skills and self-confidence.
As the session concluded, we asked True Living client Roxanne how she felt, to which she responded, “I feel happy.” It was evident that art had served as a powerful form of therapy. Our clients left with a newfound sense of accomplishment and calmness.
