Janine’s story is one of resilience, determination, and a passion for creativity. She has always been drawn to artistic endeavors, with a particular love for fashion designing, events, and floristry. Every interest she pursues exudes her unique flair and imaginative spirit.
However, Janine faced numerous challenges on her journey to receiving the support she needed. It took her an arduous 1.5 years of advocacy and determination to secure Supported Independent Living (SIL) funding through the NDIS. Along the way, she encountered the difficulty of finding the right provider who could truly understand her needs and aspirations.
Prior to discovering True Living, Janine had experienced living with multiple providers, feeling unsafe, unsatisfied, and like just another number in the NDIS system. Her needs were left unmet, hindering her progress and potential for growth.
When Janine found True Living, everything changed. True Living took the time to understand her unique goals and challenges, crafting a personalized care plan tailored to her specific needs. With True Living’s support, Janine felt seen, heard, and valued as an individual.
